Meeting
September 1st - General meeting. Come meet your fellow bodybuilders and learn what the club has to offer. Following the meeting, stick around for a popcorn and movie night featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger's "Pumping Iron" Wisconsin
Wellness Fair September 3rd - The Wisconsin Wellness Fair! Come to Library Mall between 10:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M to get information on various clubs around campus and other fitness related organizations. Cookout/BBQ October 1st - Cookout/BBQ, while the weather is still nice. Get the club together, talk about various bodybuilding topics, eat a bunch of beef, etc. T-shirts will also be handed out this day!

November 1st - Come hear a presentation from local Madtown Muscle Machine, Robb Brown, professional bodybuilder. He will talk about his competition preparations, lifting tips, and answer any questions you may have!

Steak House December 1st - End of semester get together at Prime Quarter Steak House. Stay motivated over the long break! Come and eat a big steak with the other members, reminisce about this last semester, and look forward to what the following semesters have to offer! Previous Events Vitasource
Owner - Ray Yingling
On April 17th at 7pm in 2540 Engineering. RAY YINGLING, owner of Vitasource presented on vitamins, minerals and general supplements. Several members attended and got their most detailed and difficult questions answered. Ray also gave away various sample goodies, Whey Vantage Pure Isolate protein, 2 bottles of ZMA, Glucosamine/MSM, Creatine. done by our President Brian landed us a unique connection. Professional
bodybuilder Robert Brown a.k.a. The Mad City Muscle Machine
was willing
to spend some time with the UW Bodybuilding Club.
Rob came to present some of his knowledge on training, nutrition and
more. Over
20 in attendance made for a good show. We can't wait to have him
back.
Arnold
Classic 2008
Two of our
members traveled to Columbus Ohio to see the top professional
bodybuilders in the world compete on
stage at the Arnold Classic. They met the top pros in bodybuilding as
well as a variety of other sports. The expo
was full of free goodies such as shirts and supplements as well as
signed pro photos.
We met Ron Coleman, Jay Cutler then had a chat with Lee Priest and
Quincy
Taylor! Saw the world dead lift record shattered at 1,100lbs! And much
more! This is a trip we plan on
organizing each year so sign up and stay tuned if you are interested.
